On December 6th, 1865, the 13th amendment was adopted, legally ending slavery in the United States. Since then, slavery has been outlawed in every country in the world, but unfortunately it still thrives. Modern day slavery has been driven underground and become invisible, but the lack of legitimacy has also created an atmosphere of violence and abuse. More than ever, slaves around the world need our help. You can join history and continue the fight against slavery in two key ways:
- Learn More: Become aware about modern slavery. The more you know about the problems and the solutions, the more you will be motivated and able to make a difference.
